This is a very interesting video on cancer surgery that might have applications toward breast cancer surgery.

TED conferences are held annually originally in Monterey, CA to disseminate "ideas worth spreading".  Here is a surgery breakthrough presented by Dr. Quyen Nguyen who is a surgeon at the University of California, San Diego. She is very articulate and speaks in words we can all understand.

It would be worth your time to watch this breakthrough in surgery presentation which targets cancerous cells. Wow!! Can you imagine performing surgery without this technology. No wonder the risks with surgery are so high. Implementing this technology would certainly reduce or eliminate the risk of severing a nerve and ensure all the cancerous cells are removed. Unbelievable!!!
